January 1, 1999 ... Happy New Year!!
January 4 ... Jamie lead singer of the Houston based "Toy Subs" has announced that he will no longer be playing with the band as a cover band. Bassist Greg has recruited 3 Peace's Parn to play with the remaining members of the Subs to form another band called "FUSE" - Parn will remain a member of 3 PEACE and play with FUSE when 3 PEACE is off. Be sure to check out the new FUSE page for their schedule (Coming Soon).
January 5 ... The new FUSE Website - Click Here!!!
March 18 ... The 3 Peace Website gets a well needed update!! Sorry for the delay but the webmaster was in the process of relocating as well as changing servers. The Peace will be performing this weekend at the Crooked Ferret, Bob's Icehouse and the Seabrook Beach Club. Parn will still be performing with Fuse throughout the summer so check out the new Fuse website for current bookings!
April 4 ... Happy Easter!! The guys from 3 Peace are taking somewhat of a hiatus this month, although they will be playing the Crooked Ferret on April 17th. Seems that requests for the band have been down, due to their "on-stage drinking habits!" Parn has been performing with "Fuse" during this time. Be sure to check out the Fuse site as well.
April 20 ... The Fuse Project has ended due to pure exhaustion of the band members. "Handling two bands was getting too tough", says Parn. "I had a great time playing with those guys and plan on having continued contact with them and would play with the guys if ever needed again!" Fuse R.I.P. 1999
April 27 ... 3 Peace announces their gig at Bob's Icehouse in Texas City on Saturday 5/1!! This will be their first gig in about 3 weeks and the guys should be ready to play! Come check em out!
April 28 ... The 2nd 3 Peace T-shirt Giveaway taking place now!!!

May 6 ... The guys perform for Texas City's Mainland Tool Co.'s 20th Anniversary Party! Plenty of beer and crawfish was available.
May 7 ... 3 Peace gets local exposure!! The band made the front page of the Texas City Sun. There was even a larger picture of the band inside. Rumor has it that the band will be performing for a City wide party on 6th Street in June. We'll keep you posted.
May 12 ... The band will be playing at Redfish Island in Kemah on Friday night the 14th. They have never played there and would like all their friends to come out and support them for future gig opportunities! See you there!
May 23 ... Parn has his 1st year wedding annivesary with Tina!! They celebrated it by going to Los Angeles and Las Vegas!! New pics from the trip will posted next week!!
May 27 ... The guys are currently rehearsing new material for the upcoming month! The time has come to regroup!! This will be the first time they have gotten together since Parn's stint with Fuse.

June 8 ... 3 Peace again makes the cover of the Texas City Daily Sun to promote their upcoming show at the Texas City Fun Fest!! The full article is below:
"3 Peace coming to Funfest" -- staff report
From Cheap Trick to Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam to Metallica, some of the best in rock-n-roll can be heard at Funfest on June 25 when the popular local cover band 3 Peace makes it's festival debut. You've seen them play in local clubs and private parties. The group has gathered quite a following and some very loyal fans who will go to the ends of the earth to hear 3 Peace play. So if you are in the mood for a little rock-n-roll, make your way down to the Funfest entertainmenet district on 6th Street the night of June 25 to enjoy the best in rock by a truly up and coming band. And best of all it's free. The band takes the stage at 7 p.m. and will play to 11 p.m. But since 3 Peace has such a strong following, we suggest you get downtown early to get the best locale to hear and enjoy jams from this truly outstanding band.
June 9 ... The band preparing for their upcoming shows has rehearsed for the 2nd straight week in a row, leraning even more new material. No specifics on the which songs, but rumor has it is right off the charts!! Come check them out this weekend!!

June 11 ... Update-- the Reno's show scheduled for Fri. 11 has been canceled. -- Please inform those who may not see this. Thank you.
June 13 ... The Crooked Ferret show kicked major butt!! The band came out with vengeance adding new material to their setlist!! If you haven't seen the band perform live lately - your in for a nice treat! The guys have a new maturity about the way they perform!!
June 19 ... Happy Birthday goes out to Parn's sister Terry Campbell!!!
June 20 ... Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there and to 3 Peace's Dave!!! The guys will begin rehearsing for the much anticipated Funfest in Texas City Friday evening!! The Funfest is an annual event and this is the 1st time that Rock-n-Roll will be played!! And who better to kick of the festivities than your very own 3 Peace!! The show will begin promptly at 7:00pm and last to 11pm!! The location is in Texas City on 6th Street in Downtown!!
June 21 ... PARN finds out that he is going to be a dad!! He found out on Father's Day when his wife Tina took a home pregnancy test. What a Father's Day gift!! Doctors confirmed it on Monday!! Congratulate them next time you see them!! February 2000 is official due month!!
June 30 ... The Texas City Funfest was one big bash Friday night!! The guys made the front page of the Texas City Sun in Saturday's issue. Sources at the Texas City Sun state that it was their biggest Friday night crowd ever in the history of the Funfest!
July 1 ... The new schedule has been posted on the schedule page to include a recent Texas City 4th of July gig on the Texas City Dike during the fireworks!! Be There!! See Schedule page for info on where!! (More photos will be added this week and a major overhaul of the website is also in the works!)
July 5 ... Gig at Anita's in Texas City Rocks! The guys were in high gear for the 4th of July celebration!! Apologies for the lack of new photos being added to the page -- Although, as promised, be on the lookout in the near future for those new pics!! (Annette - I promise!!)
July 6 ... Schedule has been updated to include this Saturday's gig at Bob's Icehouse in Texas City. (Note: this was changed from the Clear lake Clubhouse)

July 22 ... The Official 3 Peace Website gets a well deserved face lift! There is a new page called the Interactive Page that allows everyone to communicate with the band or each other!! Please sign the guestbook as often as you visit!! The chances of you winning a free 3 Peace T-shirt increase with each entry!! Enjoy browsing away to see the new additions to the page. July 23 ... New pics have been added to the Friends page!! A whole bunch more should grace the site during the next couple of weeks!! Check back!! Reminder: Redfish Island tonight!!
July 24 ... Last night's Redfish Island gig canceled!!!! Management refuses to pay band with cash!!! The band cancels gig due to receiving bounced check the last time they performed at Redfish. The guys insisted that the establishment pay them cash this time around - and management refused to do so. Sorry to all that may have showed up for the gig!! Tonight's Pandora's Box show is on as scheduled!!
July 26 ... 3 Peace breaks their own record at Pandora's Box. Sources from Pandora's announced that 3 Peace held the record for alcoholic beverages sold and crowd size. On Saturday night they broke their previous record with a huge crowd on hand to party with the band!! "Man - we love it when all our friends come out to hang with us and party", stated PARN.

July 28 ... Some unfortunate news out of the 3 Peace camp - Doug's grandfather passes away. Our warmest regards go out to Doug's family. Due to the funeral Doug will be unable to perform Friday night at the Crooked Ferret. A replacement has been found ....original drummer Justin Benson will return to fill in for Doug Friday Night!! Don't miss this opportunity to see them.

July 31 ... The Crooked Ferret gig makes the grade. Replacement drummer Justin Benson filled in for Doug Friday night at the Crooked Ferret and did a good job holding the tunes together. The crowd was not in it's usual state and that can be said for 3 Peace as well. The lack of rehearsal between the members of the band and Justin, did show through - but overall the night was fun. Thanks go out to Justin and girlfriend Kathy for helping out some old friends!!
August 4 ... We have a winner of the 3 Peace T-shirt Contest Giveaway!!

August 8 ... The Bob's Icehouse gig goes well with the addition of the new tunes added to the line-up. The crowd was into it - Overall the night rated about a "7".
August 10 ... Happy Birthday to DAVE and PARN!!!! Dave turned 28 and PARN 25!! Please wish them a Happy Birthday next time you see them!!
August 11 ... New Clear Lake Clubhouse gig added to the August month!! This show will be on Friday the 27th!! Make your plans to be there now!! (Editor note: Due to 3 Peace T-shirts selling out, there has been a slight delay in getting our winner his brand new T-shirt. A new order has been made and the shirt will be mailed to Kevin as soon as we receive the new shipment!!)
August 15 ... Sorry about the "no addition" of the new pics - they are ready to go as soon as I can get the time to post them. Oh by the way last night's private show for a friend's reception was kick ass!! The band in full Hawaiian Drag rocks the MUD House in Bayou Vista for the Hawaiian theme reception. Congratulations guys!! Pics soon to come from the party! (right Annette??)
August 20 ... The guys are anxious to get back to rehearsal with some new tunes added for the Clear Lake Clubhouse and Pandora's Box shows next week!! You have to see the guys at the Clubhouse, great gig!! The next update for the website may be next Wednesday night - due to moving. Be patient for the new pics!
August 28 ... The Clear Lake Clubhouse gig was pretty cool. Although there was a little mix-up in the booking. The was a kareoke lady there and she played till 11 PM, 3 Peace started after that - of course they were already drunk by the time they came on!! (Editor note: 3 Peace does not condone, nor glamorizes the consumption of alcohol in public places with under-aged women)
August 29 ... The show at Pandora's Box was absolutely amazing!!! The guys performed all the new tunes rehearsed earlier in the week. The hometown crowd was huge, and having a great time!! Average Joe (local up and coming band) was on hand and performed during one of 3 Peace's breaks. In other news, FenixTX, friends of PARN, were signed recently to MCA Records!! You may have seen the guys on the Van's Warped Tour. FenixTX (formerly known as RiverFenix) has a new website at www.fenixtx.com. Check it out!!!
September 3-5 ... The 3 Peace Website is knocked the www. apparently when too much traffic occurred!!! It's great to be back up and running. No news yet on any shows this weekend.
September 9 ... Pandora's Box show added!! The guys will be at the Box Saturday the 11th!! The last show was amazing, so be sure to get all your friends to come out this time!
September 11 ... Come on out tonight to see 3 Peace Live at Pandora's Box in Texas City!!
September 16 ... The guys will be off this weekend only to return to TC next Friday night!! Also, http://3peace.simplenet.com may soon become www.3peace.com !!! We'll keep you posted!
October 1 ... Sorry for the delay in updating the page....!!! There has been a lot going on. The guys will be playing again this weekend in TC. The schedule has been updated so make sure you check it out!
In other news... Fabian Salazar (Parn's Cuz) was down to attend his brother Tony's funeral, and was invited on stage with the band to show TC what he's made out of! He certainly did not disappoint!! Covering classics by Stevie Ray Vaughn - he mastered all the chops and even sang one!! If you missed it - You missed out!! The Bob's Icehouse show was dedicated to the memory of Antonio "Tony " Salazar who was killed in a motorcycle accident. Tony will truly be missed.

October 15 ... 3 Peace announces new upcoming shows!! The band has confirmed that they will be playing a benefit Halloween show at Yaga's in Galveston on Thursday October 28th!! The show will benefit the Leukemia Society. The guys are requesting your presence for this special cause. It looks to be like a real fun time - There will be a costume contest, and other door prizes will be given out!! Call Yaga's in Galveston for further details!! See Schedule page!!
October 23 ... The guys tore through another show at the Crooked Ferret last night. It was an outstanding standing room only crowd!! Every time they play there it always turns into a party. "Thanks to Mike and friends for the pizza", said Parn. The Thirsty Turtle awaits the guys tonight.
October 24 ... The Thirsty Turtle almost turned into a disaster. Parn's guitar pedal was on the blink. It was a full moon and the club was about an hour and a half drive for the guys. It was a treat to see Travis and Tammy with Sean and Deborah there. They really made the night fun for the band in what turned out to be a downer of a show. Thanks to Bobbi and Ric for allowing Dave, Annette and Shawn to stay over.
October 27 ... The guys prepare for tomorrow nights fun at Yaga's in Galveston. The band decided not to dress up - (Due to having minimal time between their day job and the actual gig) Doug is currently battling with the flu. Tomorrow night should be a lot of fun for everyone - and again it's for a great cause! So come on out and make a $5.00 donation at the door and drink free beer with the donation!!
On a nother note - 3 Peace will be playing, what some are saying their last gig, at Bob's Icehouse on Friday the 29th.
Also - what's it going to take to get you guys sign our damn guestbook?????
October 30 ... Last night at Bob's Icehouse may have been the last time 3 Peace performs there. Something about having to do with the band playing across town at Pandora's Box. Hmmmmmmm???? Oh well, their loss.

November 1 ... New dates posted on the schedule page!! Be There!!!
November 6 ... Congratulations go out to Mr. and Mrs. Terry Savoy on their recent marriage. The band played their for reception party. Along with the guys from "Average Joe". It was a 'stone groove'!
November 11 ... The guys rehearse for the second straight week.... wow!! They are primed and ready to go for the show on Saturday night at the Crooked Ferret. So come out and see what the hype is all about!
November 19 ... Parn checks out Diamond David Lee Roth at a club in Lake Charles, LA. Dave was touring only playing all old Van Halen songs. He did play Yankee Rose and Tobacco Road. The old tunes ranged from Dance the Night Away to Atomic Punk. "It was one hell of a show", stated Parn. Check out the pics from the show below.
November 26 ... Happy Thanksgiving!!
November 28 ... 3 Peace plays at the new Rock 'N' Rodeo in Texas City ... Well actually '2 Peace' played. Parn was not on hand to begin the show. Ken Reynolds filled in spectacularly for Parn. December 10 ... The guys return to Bob's Icehouse in Texas City for a show on the eve of Texas City going to the High School 4 A State Finals for the 2nd time in 3 years. Go TC!!!

December 11 ... An unexpected event cancels the 3 Peace show at the Crooked Ferret . It seems the Crooked Ferret had 3 Peace scheduled to perform on the 10th, and the band had their schedule saying the 11th. Somebody (DLA?) made a big OOOOOPS!! Sorry for the inconvenience. 3 Peace should be returning to the Ferret in January.
December 15 ... 3 Peace announces their New Year's Eve plans!! They will be performing at Pandora's Box in Texas City to ring in the new Millennium!!! Tickets are on sale now!!! Or you may be able to get tickets at the door. It is destined to be a sold out show so be sure to buy your tickets now!!!
Note: Rumors have it that PARN was not going to attend the show - They are absolutely false!! The 3 Peace gang - PARN, DAVE, and DOUG will be on hand to rock your asses off!!!
December 19 ... 3 Peace performs at a Benefit Show at Pandora's Box in Texas City. The benefit was for the family of Coy Esslinger. Coy, 10, recently passed away. Kerry Murphy of the band Magazine had a lot to do with putting on the benefit. He contacted 3 Peace, along with Treble Hook and Average Joe to invite them to join them to play for the special event. All the bands graciously donated their talent for the show. Donations can be made to Mainland Bank in Texas City in Coy Esslinger's name.
December 20 ... New dates are added to the 3 Peace calendar, including a make up show at the Crooked Ferret on the 30th of December. Imagine 2 straight nights of total madness, what a way to end the Millennium!!! See Schedule Page for other shows!!
December 22 ... The Crooked Ferret date on 12/30 - has been canceled!!!! Due to some logistics problems the show will not go on. Looks like the last time to see 3 Peace in the 1900's will be on New Year's Eve at Pandora's Box!! Sorry Jersey Village.
