Dec. 18 ... Well it's about DAMN TIME!! The web-site is FINALLY updated after having issues with our Web Provider. We are back in business!! A lot has happened since the last posting. We had another gig at the Ferret with topless participants (good gig, good gig!!) :) We played at The Texas City Tavern for a two nighter on December 6 & 7th. We are off this coming weekend (the 20th and 21st), but will be back in action for a two nighter, December 27 & 28, at Rock Neutney's in Clear Lake. Come out and see if we've joined Alcoholics Anonymous yet. Chances are that we'll be drunk before anybody gets there, but you never know!! Check out the Schedule page for more details! Nov. 3 ... A weekend to remember ... a weekend to forget!! The Crooked Ferret gig turns out to be a paid rehearsal as bad weather along with the opening of hunting season proves to be too much for the regulars as even the rent-a-crowd was a no-show!!! The Rock Neutneys gig however kicked major ass!!! 3 PEACE played everything off of the Best of CD as well as some new ones that should appear on the Muppets CD. Seven from the band Stripper's Lie was in attendance promoting his band's upcoming show at the club as well as giving the band high fives for their performance.
Oct. 31 ... Happy Halloween!! This just in - 3 PEACE will be performing live at the Crooked Ferret Pub tomorrow night 11/1!! Don't forget the Rock Neutney's show on Saturday 11/2 in Clear Lake!! The guys are primed and ready to release a barrage of new and old material that is sure to bring the house down!!! In other news - An instructional link has been setup to provide an example of what you ladies should do when attending a 3 PEACE show. Click here for remedial training!!
Oct. 23 ... 3 PEACE announces their upcoming CD release "Pasture of Muppets"*. No songs as of yet have been recorded and plans to record are not even in the works but the band wanted to release this news!!
Oct. 23 ... The page is becoming more and more interactive - on the Song List page you may request a song(s) in hopes of 3 PEACE learning it for you. The Guestbook/Poll page has a place for you to enter your email address to get on the 3 PEACE Mailing List - for news and schedule reminders. Don't worry we don't give your email address out to anyone. If you were previously on the 3 PEACE mailing list prior to 10/23 - you must re-enter your address due to the closure of the old email list holder.
Oct. 22 ... Thank you for voting "3 PEACE w/Doug" as the 3 PEACE line-up of choice. The results reflect Doug's majority 5 1/2 year stint in the band, compared to Justin's 3 year and Brent's current 4 month stint. Its safe to say that Doug and Justin's existence in the band will always be memorable, as each drummer had their own style and charisma. Brent, who currently holds the reigns as 3 PEACE's skin destroyer, continues the tradition of outstanding drummers, and who's vocal talents lend the extra added touch that was previously absent. Let's just hope that this is the final chapter of outstanding 3 PEACE drummers!! We'll revisit this poll in about a year. This week's poll question - "What venue do you prefer to see 3 PEACE perform?" Make your selection please.
Oct. 21 ... The TC Tavern gig really rocks - a large crowd was on hand to witness the spectacle that is 3 PEACE!! The sound was great - and the tips were great thanks to the new 3 PEACE "Show Us Your Tips" Tip Jar -- All tips are "Tax Deductible" so next time you see the band be sure to donate!!! In other news the Pics Page is coming along so check it out. New Ferret gigs added!!!
Oct. 18 ... The band plays tonight at the TC Tavern located in Texas City. You may notice that the place looks exactly like Bob's Icehouse but don't be fooled. The band will be celebrating the release of their new CD - "The Best of 3 PEACE - Vol. 1" - Visit the discography page to take a look at the CD Cover Art. The Links page has been updated as well - so if you would like your page linked let us know.
Oct. 17 ... We're almost there - the website is looking more and more like this band really kick ass!! Please go to the homepage and click on the guestbook/poll button (or just click on it) to sign the 3 PEACE guestbook and answer this week's poll question. One upcoming change will be that no pics will be added to the news page --- only news will located here. The Pics Page is currently under construction and should be somewhat completed tomorrow or early next week. Also don't forget guys -- the band performs tomorrow night in Texas City -- this will be the last 3 PEACE show of the month - so be sure to come check them out.
Oct. 16 ... The page is slowly but surely getting there. Be sure to check back regularly during this transition.
Oct. 15 ... The Official 3 Peace website is getting some needed work done to it and more pics will be added this week. No new dates have been set as of yet. The next gig is Friday night's show in Texas City at the TC Tavern (formerly Bob's Icehouse).
Oct. 5 ... 3 PEACE returns to the Crooked Ferret and rocks the ass off those who attended. Those who had big asses were thankful!!
Sept. 28 ... The Ferret Fest goes on without a hitch. Dave's performance stole the show as his rendition of Puddle of Mudd's "She Hates Me" was the crowd's favorite.
Sept. 17 ... As 3 Peace prepares their return to Texas City this Saturday - drummer Brent is in a drum-off contest tonight at the Guitar Center in Clear Lake. Be sure to go and support him - I hear that crowd response goes a long way in to the judging!!
Sept.9 ... The band kicks Rock Neutney's ass!!! An unscheduled show was performed by the members of 3 PEACE at the Clear Lake hotspot Saturday night!! With plenty in attendance the band performed as if they belonged on that stage from day 1!! This was the bands first show at RNs. -- Mark (RN owner) had nothing but kudos for the band -- so look to see them back for a scheduled show!! Check this shot out:
Sept. 6 ... Site finally updated!! - Please check the schedule page for new dates. 3 PEACE is busy trying to book more local shows in different locations.
Aug 6 ... New show added for Friday night!! The guys will be performing at Pennisons Sports Pub 3 in West Houston on Highway 6 and westeimer!! Brent is raring to go after his month long vacation!!
July 20 ... The Woodrow's gig was a major success for the band. A great crowd came out to support the band. Old friends were there - like Raul (Rablo) and the same ol Woodrow's gang!!! Justin fit in like he had never left! Utilizing a kit borrowed from Rico of Big Red Sun. Thanks Rico (Suave)!! Everybody celebrated Parn's wife Tina's B-day!! Happy Birthday Tina!! The gang from Santa Fe even showed up - Glenn, Deedee, Toby and an 18 year old Brooke!! What 18??? - She was only 10 when she saw her first 3 PEACE show!!! July 15 ...
July 14 ... The Crooked Ferret gig rocks!!! The band was back in action in front of some old friends: Roan & Kacie, Brent & Vicki, Jerry & Jamie, Paul & Kim, Murrey, Chris, Alex, and many more... Brent's old bandmates from One Night Stand (Rick and James) were on hand to lend some support "Thanks Bros!" - There was also a Surprise Birthday celebration given for Dave's wife Annette by Bobbi & Ric. Here are a couple of pics of the night. (more are to follow)
July 8 ... This just in ... Justin Benson - 3 Peace's original drummer - will be coming to town July 19 and 3 Peace has booked an original reunion show at Woodrows on July the 20th!! Brent has OK'd the gig and will be out of town on vacation (again????) Be sure to come out and support the guys!!
July 7 ... The guys are getting ready rehearsing for their upcoming show at the Ferret! Brent gets back in town from his trip to Cape Cod - check him out with this fake fish:
June 20 ... Crooked Ferret gigs added!!! Saturday July the 13th and August the 10th (which is PARN and DAVE's birthday!!!) Yep - can you believe these guys have the same exact B-DAY???? So be sure to come check them out - as this place IS the PLACE to see 3 PEACE at their absolute wildest and craziest!!! This will be Brents first FERRET gig -- so guys let's show 'em how it's done!!!
June 18 ... Check the schedule page for future open dates that are being filled for the summer. Dates are minimal so be sure to catch the guys when you can!
June 15 ... The DOUBLE BOOKED DEBACLE!!! Sean at Zak's dearly fouls up the club schedule by booking another band - sorry to everyone who showed up to hear 3 PEACE!!
June 12 ... The band schedules a 1st time gig at Zak's Pub in NW Houston!! The show will be Saturday June 15th at 9:30. So come on out and support the band!!
June 9 ... The band trashes Bob's Icehouse!! Breaking out their old and new hits - culminating in a blast from the past "Turn up the Radio" by Autograph!! The crowd goes wild.............
May 13 ... Brent makes the web!! The website is getting a much needed face lift - and with the new addition to the 3 Peace family - something needed to be done! For those of you all who still would like to know what Doug is up to - you can always contact him via doug@3peace.com Once a you're a 3 Peace member - you're family!! No new dates as of yet - but the Schedule page has been updated to reflect our first gig back as 3 PEACE.
May 10 ... Well, well, well .... the guys are back!!! Ready to rock!! The new drummer is Brent "The Animal" Gilpin. One "Surprise" show was played at Bob's Icehouse on Friday night and the form was there - Brent nailed it and was introduced as the new 3 PEACE man!! More news to follow...
